Japan Escapade

A few of my darlings are going to Japan soon. So I add a few pics on why i LOVE Japan..

The People are kind and polite, may seems reserve at times, but ask for help and you shall see their kindness.. I asked this man if i can take picture of his kawaii grandson, he just smiled and posed.

The toilets are super clean. All your 'businesses' basically runs in the bowl. There's those buttons next to the seat for you to wash and clean. They also even have a button for music or flushing sound for you to use if you do not want others to hear you.. Hahahaha.. and also heater button for winter time.. Fantastic!

The fresh Sushi.. Need i say more?

The fun people who could just dress any way they want and others will just understand and respect, no funny looks.

They are proud of their culture, we should be too.
The sweet winter fruits!
Takeshita Dori at Harajuku and the 5 Floors 100 yen shop! you'd go crazy. you can buy your souvenirs here for your friends at 100 yen each. There's huge section of Hello Kitty, My Melody stuffs which are super duper cute.

They even have a specific spot for smoking...
High Fashion street Ginza... You can find Burberry Blue Label( only sold in Japan and London) here

Off course shopping in Ameyo Yokocho.. No immitations in Japan, don't worry
Robust network of train and metro.. Clean. Everybody read or browse movie in the train, it's quiet
Outlet shopping in Gotemba.. Also mount fuji at the back.. Must go!
Their supermarket with all the kawaii stuff, they are serious about presentation
The famous shibuya crossing. You can walk from here to harajuku, around 15-20 minutes walk. along the way there's a big ABC Mart

It's beautiful

Love in Marriage .. Is not by default

First and foremost, Kudos to all who have taken the first step of getting married, being in it and making it happen. It could be bumpy on certain days, lovely on some and mostly fulfilling. It could even get crazy if you let it.

I always believe that marriage is very much like an exam. If you put alot of effort into it, get prepared, does lots of practices and homework, it will definitely get you the A's you wanted, and off course otherwise. If one plans to just sit back and relax and let things happen on it's own, the outcome may not be as one may desire.

Remember how cool and entertaining we used to be when we dated? How understanding and receptive we were to our partner? Where has those values gone to? Is it still with you or you've turned into a different person?

Looking fantastic for your husband vs looking fantastic only to work seems to be confusing most of us. We should dress our best in front of our husband, speak politely, show much love and gratitude and most importantly, show tons of respect. But many of us has done the complete opposite. They'd do it for their bosses but not their husbands. This is quite funny, because your boss can fire you anytime, but your husband will be there through goods and bad.

Some younger friends, after delivering their first baby seems to be married to their baby instead of their husband, he then become a stranger to her and will be given the distance. It's tough being a wife and a mother, I agree, but that's where you're 'the special one'. You could do both and you could find the middle path to be there for your child but at the same time still be that dotting wife you're supposed to be.

When I said love is not by default, pray for love. Many of us pray for money, pray for health, but often forget to pray for love. It's also a "Rezeki" , not by default. Pray that your love with your husband will always taste like the first day and the excitement of seeing each other will always be there. As the religion always teaches us, Put in your effort and end it with tawakkal and prayers. InsyaAllah.

I'm not being on the man's side, don't get me wrong. I'm totally on yours. I'm only urging my sisters to preserve and maintain her marriage so that she doesn't have to blame that 'devil in the red dress' if she ever cross your path and snatch your ' unguarded possessions". If you've done your best and have been that wife you're supposed to be, it's quite unlikely that your husband will budge, why should he, for he've gotten an 'angel in the white dress'.

I leave it to you... Just writing this out of love..

The affordable Perth!

It's affordable trust me..

Just browse Air Asia, www.airasia.com , every now and then and I'm sure you'd fine a fantastic deal. Perth is just 5 hours from Malaysia, kejap je. If you get the right deal, you would be paying only RM1k per head inclusive of meals, baggage allowance and hot seat. Murah.

Touching down at the early dawn of the morning is not a problem at all since Perth Airport has got a prayer room.. So ramailah yg jemaah kat situ. No problem. Watch what you bring into Perth because Australian government is super duper particular about anyone bringing in anything prohibited, you could be deported, so hati2.

You need a visa to enter Australia, so go online to apply for the visa. It's AUD20/ person, you need this, don't forget. And the process takes atleast 2 weeks, so don't wait until last minute. The visa will lasts you a year I think.

Besides opting for a hotel, check out the apartment we stayed in which was Seashells Apartment in Scarborough. You'd love it! seashells.com.au/‎ , it has got everything that you could ask for in a holiday apartment. Kitchen, pretty bedrooms, a beautiful hall, jacuzzi in the toilet, plenty of parking space, a beaitful balcony to oversee the white sandy beach of Scarborough and everything you could dream of.

Time tu June, not sure if it's an off peak season but Seashells was offering 50% off on the apartment we picked, so please be on the lookout. Rajin2 browse. It was winter time, cold, the kids would love it.

And if you're there with family, it's best to rent a car, take the airport rental, those that are based there. But you must know that children 7 and below is compulsary to be seated in a carseat. So you must rent it as well from the rental company. And off course you need to rent the GPS, so easy to go around with it.

There's a small mall next to Seashells, so you can do your groceries there, whatmore if you opt to cook. It's so convenient. Oh, did I tell you that Perth is filled with Malaysians? We come across many of them, the one in the supermarket next to Seashell that we met, whom is a Malaysian chinese even talked BM with us with eastern dialect. He miss home alot!

To shop, go to Harbour Town, it's an Australian Premium outlet. Although you would not see big names there, but things are at bargains. And there's a restaurant selling halal food there. Rice, kebab, enough choices. Halal food is all over Perth.

Don't forget to browse Groupon Australia or cudo and the likes of it before you go. Again to purchase bargains. It's so worthwhile. We bought dinner for four at a restaurant called The Groper's wife around 15 minutes drive from our apartment, in my counting, the dinner could feed 10 actually! haha.. Banyak sgt.. They gave us 8 fried fish fillets, almost 500g of chips and a big bag of Calamari, only for AUD15.. Sgt mampu milik.

So, what's great in Perth? It's mostly animals that we don't see in Malaysia. You should go to Caversham where Kangaroos are let in the open for you to play with, koalas and many more. You should also checkout AQWA, a local fish aquarium centre, something like our Aquaria.

Don't forget to go to freemantle, it's a port, but souvenirs there are super duper cheap! Remember the kangaroo souvenir everyone gives us everytime they come back from Australia? a bag of 10 only costs AUD3.. hehe. A beautiful souvenir bag costs AUD2.50.

What's close to my heart is the mosque in the middle of Perth City.. I always feel that since Allah SWT already gave me a chance to travel the world, I should atleast visit HIS Masjid and perform my prayers there. Alhamdulillah...

Dear Daughters

Dear Daughters,

From the day i got to know of my pregnancy with you. The whole world opened greater avenues for me. It's like I'm suddenly a more special person than i was yesterday.

We went through changes, but only those that I'm proud of. I became fatter, grumpier, less attractive, but it could not beat the greatness I felt about having you. You changed me into a better person. I was afraid to leave solat and would constantly try to read Quran as I was more driven towards it.

I felt strong, because I had to be, now that I'm going to bring an angel into the world. I learned to be less selfish and was determined to re-set my priorities for your future instead of mine. I, as in me, was less and less important for as long as your needs come to mind.

I want you to know, that I never regretted these changes, infact, I'm blessed, to have had the opportunity to give birth to such beautiful souls as the 3 of you. You created this link between me and daddy that could not be broken, as when there's you, there must be us..

I remember i made a quote when I first became a mother and I want you to take this with you for you to understand my love for the three of you..

"A mother will forever stand for her children, even if she've sold her legs to feed them."

I love you from the bottom of my heart...

Love,

Mummy
